Geospatial Asset Management and Network Design

As part of the lecture series titled “New Networking Technologies 2011” NETvisor’s experts gave a presentation on "A Geospatial Asset Management and Network Design" on September 21st, 2011. The lecture series “New Networking Technologies 2011” is organized jointly by the Antok Engineering Ltd. and Tivadar Puskas Telecommunication College.

The presentation discussed current critical topics such as:

• The highlighted role of the access networks and FTTx networks in general
• The life cycle of the communication networks
• The role and characteristics of geometric and geographic information systems
• The legal regulation of the unified e-registration of utilities
• NETvisor’s development program in the topic of the e-registration of utilities
• The concept and importance of the strategic network design (strategic planning and detailed construction of the network design)
• Description of NGAdesigner and Smallworld Smart Strategic Planner (SSP)
